111 Residential House IMBs Issued Via Online Service

Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Dept. has issued 111 Building Permits (IMB)s for residential houses via online service that has been launched since November 2018.

IMB issuance usually takes several days to complete but now it only takes one to three hours

Via online service, Jakarta PMPTSP Dept. Head, Edy Junaedi conveyed, 104 IMBs for residential houses with land area above 100 square meters have been issued by sub-district office. While 7 IMBs for residential houses with land area under 100 square meters have been issued by urban village office.

"Online IMB service really provides an ease for Jakartans since IMB issuance usually takes several days to complete but now it only takes one to three hours," he explained, Monday (12/10).

PTSP Dept. to Hold IMB and KRK Service Trial via Online

He informed, PMPTSP Dept. will enact online IMB service as the mandatory standard to issue residential houses IMBs starting 2019. Because Online IMB services are provided as a solution for Jakartans who want to take care of issuing building permits when they build or renovate their houses.

"Jakartans can use this service innovation by accessing jakevo.jakarta.go.id website or downloading JAKEVO application in their smartphones," he said.

His side will continue to develop online service for residents thus later it can also be used for non-residential house IMB, such as warehouse and other buildings that are more complex in terms of technical research.

"We hope all of our services can make Indonesia to be a part of TOP 40 Ease of Doing Business (EoDB)," he asserted.
